He received his Ph.D. in Modern English & American literature in 2012 from University of Baghdad, Iraq. The title of his dissertation is The Theme of Survival in Modern Native American Poetry: A Study of N. Scott Momaday, Joy Harjo & Sherman Alexie.
He teaches PHD courses in the Dept. of English, College of Arts, University of Baghdad, Iraq. Also, he is a lecturer at the Dept. of English, Al-Nisour University.
